In Algoma, adventure takes on a whole new meaning...

Thrill yourself as you travel through trails carved into the Cambrian Shield and old growth forests.

Connect with your wild side as you ride to remote areas known only to snowmobilers and untamed animals.

Enjoy every stop as our businesses and residents can't wait to show you how northerners kick back.

With over 2,000 miles of groomed trails, Algoma truly is every snowmobiler's ultimate adventure. If you have what it takes, our trails quietly await...

   TRAIL STATUS
ASPA    Jan 25/12
A FEW TRAILS OPEN
Club Alouette Dubreuilville OPENED the D trail toward Wawa by Monday Dec 19/11 and the D108A to Hornepayne Dec 29/11 (use plowed road for 10 km to the rail tracks). They have also limited the F Trail from Dubreuilville to Dalton.

The Wawa Sno Riders have also opened their end of the D trail Dec 23/11 to meet the Dubreuilville system. Most of their trail system is now open to great conditions.

These trail openings are the earliest in a long time. Both clubs are hard at work clearing the downed brush after a heavy wet snow reeked havoc on the trail system.

Much needed snowfall along the North Shore of Lake Huron has enabled a few trails to open/limited in Sault Ste. Marie, Spanish and Elliot Lake.

Please be sure to check out the OFSC Trail Reports at ofsc.on.ca for current conditions.

TEMPORARY TRAIL CLOSURES
Please Note! Due to the closure of Half Way Haven Resort and Fuel stop the D-Trail between Searchmont and Wawa will be closed for the 2011/2012 Season.

The D trail system that runs between Heyden and Old Goulais Bay Road is officially closed until further notice. Closure is due to logging in the area and is extremely dangerous to riders.

Also you can follow us on Face Book now - just look for Algoma Sno Plan Affiliation.
