The North Shore Loop offers the widest array of riding experiences over two days or more anywhere in Ontario. From the rugged hills leaving Sault Ste. Marie to the farm fields and maple stands of Echo Bay and St. Joseph Island, to the old logging roads and riverside runs in Iron Bridge, Thessalon, Elliot Lake, Blind River and Spanish, this area has a little of everything all within close proximity to full service communities. For the novice rider or the expert, this area provides safe, welcoming services at regular intervals with the option of venturing out into back country trails. Rides can range from two days to extended three, four or five day rides and hitting the same trail twice is rarely needed. For those looking to experience a variety of small northern Ontario communities without venturing too far into the vast wilderness, this ride provides a variety of excellent options.
